Santa and his elf
� No Christmas is complete without a visit to Santa.� So naturally one of our first field trips was to the mall.� We hurried to the big Christmas display only to discover that Santa was at dinner.� So we took this as a sign that we should eat too. �� After our meal we headed back to see if Santa had returned.� There he was looking just as jolly as ever.� We walked to the end of the line and waited for our turn.� We must have looked really good because a lot of people turned to look at us.�� A young man behind the counter seemed to be especially interested in us. � ;-) Finally it was our turn to see Santa.� After insisting that we sit on his lap he asked us what we wanted for Christmas.� Our reply was in unison, "Isaac Hanson, please" and showed him Cardboard Ike.� "Ho ho ho" he said.� We decided not to take that personally.� It was picture time then and we put on our best smiles.� Except for Cardboard Ike, he decided to go with one of his coy, come hither looks.� We thanked Santa and left with the hopes that our Christmas wish would come true. �

� � While visiting Jacki we went to the mall and couldn't resist another opportunity to visit Santa.� Unfortunately, Cardboard Ike was not able to join us with Santa.� However, to our amazement, when the picture was developed we saw that he was with us in spirit.� He must like us. �
